I thought I had seen the right with the 1005HA netbook, but then I noticed the mouse pad has small holes in it. I have sensitive fingertips and that made me not purchase the item. I am very dissappointed that ASUS would do this. Do not think any of the other brands have this. Fucked in my mind, the mouse pad is too important to not completely satisfied with the feeling. Receive a box with packing material! It came wrapped my daughter and my youngest daughter opened on Christmas Day and was heartbroken. . . great little machine if they receive it. . . no bigger ticket items to be ordered from Amazon ever in our family. Buy this (or any other) Asus product at your own risk. I bought a PC 1005HA in September, which worked well until the AC adapter stopped working in early November. When I contacted the company, told me they were out of that role, but must be able to send a replacement for the end of the month. In late November came and went, but the company still could not tell me if / when the adapters would receive from your provider. Although the PC is now as useless as the box it came without the ability to charge the battery, Asus has refused to do anything to solve this problem – or give me any timeframe within which to expect a solution . If you decide to buy one of these PCs from Asus, as they only do if you feel comfortable knowing that if you have any problems, your Asus warranty worth the paper it’s written. Rating: 1 / 5
Two weeks and no AC adapter. Widespread problem, and ASUS has no replacement in stock. 2-4 weeks for a new adapter in garantÃa.El EEEPC is my 3rd product. Very poor quality control. I will not buy another ASUS product. Rating: 1 / 5
Nice hardware, but I will not buy this w / Windows 7.Windows 7 for beginners is an operating system very restrictive and limited the ability of Web-based productivity beyond the use of the box. This means that I am disabled when using this device. To provide a productive environment that will have to spend several hundred dollars on software as MS Office.Quiero that sold netbook w / Linux, so you can use the full set of free productivity applications (office, image editing, multimedia, etc..) This unlock the full potential of this device, so I can get the most out of it. Why not the hardware available with Linux pre-installed? I am forced to seek other vendors like Dell, for a netbook with Linux. Rating: 3 / 5
